BEFORE YOU HIRE A COACH, YOU MIGHT WANT TO ASK THEM WHAT KIND OF CONTINUING EDUCATION THEY HAVE DONE IN THE LAST YEAR.

Janette Dalgliesh is a very well-trained coach with a lot of experience AND she showed up for training at The Coaching Guild anyway. Having her has been a huge blessing for me and for all the students. Janette's expertise and wisdom is invaluable.

So, what is a previously-trained, highly experienced coach doing in a coach training program? She's doing the right thing, that's what. Coaches should be committed to ongoing training. Continuing education is required in other adjacent helping professions but because coaches aren't regulated it's not required for us - and most coaches don't do it.

Too many coaches spend too much money and time taking expensive courses and trainings on how to make more money as a coach. Not enough coaches are asking themselves how to grow their skills to better serve more clients.

Here is why you hire a coach like Janette: If you were to ask Janette Dalgliesh about what she's done to grow her skills as a coach, she can easily answer that question. She has spent the past YEAR working on expanding her skill set. This is what she says about The Coaching Guild.

"I've been in the coaching industry for over a decade, and this is hands-down the best training program I've seen. Diverse, multi-faceted, trauma-informed - and all gathered together by the brilliant brain of Lisa Hayes. Lisa has gone out of her way to prevent some of the issues which arise in other coach training programs - for example, the 'cult' status of the 'leader' (she deliberately brings in experts in their field to ensure a wider experience); or the focus on just one coaching approach (students experience a wide range, all underpinned by good science).

I particularly love Lisa's insistence upon having the student body be as diverse and inclusive as possible.

This program is run for excellence rather than profit, which means class sizes are deliberately kept small (no competing for attention with 200 other students!). As a result, no student gets to qualify without close attention to their own journey, and whatever coaching and teaching support THEY need in order to hold space for their clients, walk their talk, and be the best (and most successful) coach possible.

Whether you're looking to start a coaching career, embark on some excellent professional development, or  hire a very well-trained and well-rounded coach for yourself - this is the best place to start.

Highly, highly recommended. Like literally - don't go anywhere else!"
